COVID-19 pandemic promoted a lot of research activities in relation to mucosalivary fluid airborne transport. Indeed, infection mechanisms are the result droplets exchange and knowledge this area is still largely inadequate. One main challenges concerns modelling complex nature. Specifically, key element predict small diameters dry nuclei formation which highly relevant from transmission risk point view. For reason, paper we present discuss development new multi-scale technique incorporates Population Balance Equation into standard particle-source-in-cell method. Thus, effectiveness aforementioned droplet generation showed discussed. Also impact velocity boundary conditions at mouth print assessed as well effect correlations for mass transfer showing that their neglect causes an underestimation distance reached by droplets.
